The film is the point: in ten years, this Saturday will be the thing you would pay anything to see again.

How it works

You live the day. We film it.

We plan loosely around your family's real rhythm: pancakes, the park, the fort in the living room. One filmmaker follows along for a few hours with a small camera and no agenda except noticing. Then we edit it into a film with your real sound in it, the voices at the ages they are right now.

Sessions work for newborn seasons, toddler chaos, grandparent visits and every stage after.

What is a day in the life family film?

A documentary session where the filmmaker follows your family's real day for a few hours, then edits the footage into a short film with your family's actual voices and sounds.

Our house is messy and our kids will not behave. Should we wait?

Please do not. The mess and the chaos are the era, and they are what the film is for. Nobody rewatches the posed part.

How is this different from a photo session?

Photos hold a face. Film holds a voice, a laugh, the way your toddler said that word wrong. Most families tell us the sound is the reason they are glad they chose film.

When is the best age to book one?

Whenever you are in a season you want to keep: newborn weeks, first steps, last year before school, grandparents in town. The honest answer is that the best time is the era you are in right now.
